Homeschool Crew Review: Is There Anything Better Than Candy? Box-Tract

This review is for the Is There Anything Better Than Candy? Box-Tract from Let the Little Children Come. This halloween tract might be useful for some upcoming fall gatherings.

Matthew 19:14 says, "Jesus said, " Let the little children come to me.  Don't stop them because the kingdom of heaven belongs to people who are like these children."

Let the Little children Come sells a variety of child evangelism tools.  Each of their products are made to appeal to and keep the attention of children while still keeping true to the message of salvation through Jesus Christ.


The Is There Anything Better Than Candy? Box Tract comes in packs of 20.  The cost of each pack depends on how many you purchase.  1-10 packs costs $15.95.  11-20 packs costs $14.95 and 21 packs or more cost $13.95.  Once assembled the box is 3 inches across and 2 inches tall.




The halloween box tract looks as pictured above when it is assembled and can be filled with small pieces of candy or treats.  When the child opens it they will see on this image on the inside

As they open it it says:

1) Yes, there is something much, much better than candy, it is being God's friend!

2) God loves you very much and wants to be with you not just here on earth, but forever in heaven as well.

3) But we cannot be with God because we have sinned. We have all done things that are wrong.  Telling lies, fighting and stealing are examples of sins.  God is very sad that we can't be with him.  So he sent his Son, Jesus.

4) Jesus came from heaven to earth to die on the cross so that all of sins can be forgiven.  And on the third day, Jesus became alive again!  Because our sins can be forgiven, we can be with God forever and ever.

5)  You can be with Good now and forever if you:

Admit that you have sinned and ask God to forgive you.
Believe that Jesus died on the cross to be punished instead of you, and
Invite Jesus into your life to help you turn away from sin.

6) You can talk to Jesus about this right now.
Dear Jesus, I know that I have sinned.  I believe that you died on the cross to take the punishment for my sins.  Please forgive all my sins. Come into my life and help me turn away from doing wrong.  In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.


The box-tract was very easy to punch out and put together.  There are visual instructions on each of them, but honestly when I put the first one together I didn't even notice them and easily figured out how to put it together. It is a good size that would allow for several piece of candy or small treats.  This project would be easy for even young children to make and put together for other children.  You might use these to give out candy at Halloween, trunk or treat, or a fall festival.  You might decide to give them out to your Sunday School class or during children's church.  Children could put them together to give to adults or at other children's activities.
