Other Activities this Week:
Monday Nick had a robotics club meeting and started Refereeing 5 and under soccer.
Tuesday was gymnastics. Lily sat out. Then we had sandwiches and chips at the park. Christian had 2 games, one at 6 and then one at 8 ( I am not going to day what I think about this year's soccer schedule but we will survive) It felt like 106 degrees when the first game started at 6.
I went over to take a picture of Nick on the 5 and under field. All of those children looked so small! It doesn't seem like Nick ever was that little on the soccer field, but of course he was. He started playing when he was 4.
Wednesday we had Kid's Club.
Thursday morning the goats decided to cause some damage to their pen that had to be repaired. Then we had to give worm medicine (goats have to have a lot of worm medicine) and cut the new rabbit's toe nails.
That afternoon Lily had piano. Then Emmie had dance. When Emmie was at dance Lily and I went to the park and finished the school work she didn't get done during the day. Then we decided to take a lap around the walking trail, nice and slow to see how her knee would feel. We were almost back to the pavilion when the sky opened up and it started down pouring!!! The lower temperature felt really nice!
Friday we had a Geography Through Art co-op on Africa and made clay sculptures and butterfly wing collages.
Saturday was a rainy fallish day. Lots of laundry was done, some camper cleaning to get ready for our stay next week at District Fair, and I went over all of Nick and Alex's school work to see where they are at so far. I also signed Nick up to take the October ACT.
I hope you had a great week!
Happy Homeschooling!
