Making Progress

Progress on our new Family Room is coming along. Home construction is always a challenge, but construction when it is 98 degrees outside is even more challenging. My wonderful husband spent the whole day on Saturday working on the Family Room (with 3 dips in the pool to cool down.) We are hoping to be putting windows in very soon.

How exciting - a new livingroom! We're putting new carpet in the kids bedrooms after 10 years. It'll be so nice! I'm impressed your dh can do it! I'm a DIY'er, but not at that level. Hopefully, the windows will go in and then the heat won't be such an issue. Can't wait to see pics of the final product!

Thanks for visiting my blog - looking forward to working on the Crew!

Home projects never seem to be done one leads to another. We re-dry walled Tys room this year.

Katie,
It always takes longer then you think it will. Especially when you DIY and your husband has to work all day and try to fit in time working on the house, mowing the lawn, and spending time with the kids in the evening. It will all be worth it when it's done, no matter how long it takes :) Hope you are all doing well!
