Homeschool Art Class Week 7

It was kite day!  Today the children got to make their kites.  They drew their design on a plastic trash bag with markers.  Then we attached sticks, yarn, and kite string.  If they wanted to, we trimmed the kite into diamond shapes, but most of the children wanted to keep them in square shapes.

Nick and Alex were constructing box kites.  They did not get them finished.

We had enough time after finishing the kites to do one drawing.  Since this month is Matisse, the children did a drawing of a face and traced their hands and made their drawings very colorful.

Emelia drew whatever she wanted to.
