Last Day of School Pictures

We do some school all summer long.  But we are definitely more laid back and relaxed and do not do a full school schedule.  Most;y we work on math and reading and any review products that we are working on.  Our regular school year runs from August until May or June.  This week we came to a good stopping point and since we have VBS next week and won't be doing any school work at all, we decided to call Thursday our last regular day of school for the 2014/2015 school year.

Every year I take a picture of the children on our first day and last days of school in the same spot in the house.  I use these photos in our homeschool year book and it is really nice to see how much they have grown throughout the year ( although I do wish they would slow down!)

Chelsea

Chelsea started community college last fall.  She turned 18 this year.  Several weeks ago, she decided to move out and move in with friends.  This was not with our blessing and has been a hard situation but she is old enough to make her own decisions.  We miss her very much and try to spend time with her when we can.  She finished off her second semester and is planning on attending the same college in the fall.
