Little Angels Prayers For Every Day Review and Giveaway!

                                                   Website: http://www.idealsbooks.com

About the Book
Little Angels Prayers for Every Day features more than 50 simple rhyming prayers that cover a typical day and the typical worries of a young child. From waking in the morning to going to sleep at night, from thanking God for a meal to praying for His comfort when afraid, the prayers here will help little ones to see that any moment is a good moment to talk to God. Relevant Bible verses are scattered throughout the book as well!

The opportunity to review Little Angels Prayers For Every Day by Roma Downey and illustrated by Lisa Reed came up and as soon as I saw the cover and read the description I knew it would be perfect for my 4 year old daughter.  When it came in the mail, I was more than happy to discover I was right!  This book is simply adorable!  It is the perfect size for little hands to hold.  It is a board book making it very sturdy for preschoolers to tote around.  The book features twins Alex and Zoe as they go about their day.  The illustrations are very cute and colorful.  The rhyming prayers are simple and easy for young children to remember.  Throughout the book there are Bible verses that relate to the life situation that the prayers are about on that page.  For instance:

Prayers For Others:  There are 4 prayers on the page with some cute illustrations.  One of the prayers read:

Dear God,
My friend is feeling sad
and I'd like to say a prayer:
I hope that he'll feel happier
and know how much you care.
Amen

And the Scripture on that page is:

Philippians 2:4 Don't look out for your own interests, but take an interest in others, too.  (NLT)

The preschooler in your life would really enjoy this sweet book of prayers!

So, win it for them here!
