Review: Bible Dominoes

Recently I had on opportunity to review Bible Dominoes from Kregel Publications.

Bible Dominoes is a game for 2-4 players ages 3 and up.  This domino game helps teach little ones about Jesus and the Bible as well as colors and numbers.  The set includes 28 large, colorful dominoes with a mix of numbers, colors, and Bible story characters.  Also included is a story booklet containing short Bible stories matching those that are featured on the dominoes.  Stories included are: Noah and His Ark, Joseph and His Amazing Coat, Moses Prince of Egypt, Daniel Saved From the Lions, Jonah and the Great Fish, Jesus Talks to A Crowd, A Big Lunch, Stop Storm!, The Good Shepherd, and The Stranger Who Helped.  You can purchase Bible Dominoes for $9.99.

I have been playing Bible Dominoes with my 4 and 6 year olds.  This is a great age for this game. The directions were easy to follow and understand very quickly.  It also does not take a very long time to play which is great for those with short attention spans. The dominoes are large, colorful and very sturdy.  They are also easy to pick up.  The girls have enjoyed matching the colors and numbers on the dominoes and talking about the Bible stories.  They also have had fun building roads and train tracks with the dominoes.  This game would be great for a pre-k-early elementary Sunday School class, or for homes with young children.
