Today in Art Class, the children continued to learn about Ancient Egypt. They learned about the Nile River and what it was used for, the pyramids, animals, and the Sphinx. Our teacher did a really great job teaching the children about Egypt, and the children did a really great job listening too. The children did water color paintings of the Nile and the area around it, and drew or painted a camel, cat, donkey, and a lion. Then they did some drawing exercises of pyramids and what was in them. Last they constructed pyramids from craft sticks.
How fun! We are studying Ancient Egypt now too. I'll have to add some art in ;)
