Week 27 in our Homeschool
Bible: We continued reading through the Psalms.
History: In MOH Vol II we covered Dante, The Aztecs, and The Hundred Years War.
Language Arts: Lily continued her work in Lassie Comes Home. Emmie completed Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. The boys continued working on their research papers and we finished reading As You Like It. As You Like It was their last book to be read this year. I am going to look for a play of it that we can stream sometime this week or next.
Geography: We studied Wyoming and Colorado this week.
Latin: We finished the translation of lesson 16 in Visual Latin.
Math: Independent Work
Science: Independent Work
We had some beautiful weather this week, along with some stormy weather. We spent lots of time outside during the beautiful weather.
Work on the fence continued. Our big mama goat is still pregnant. Hoping for babies by Tuesday, if not by Wednesday we are taking her in for a check up on Thursday. She is pretty miserable.
I bought some kinetic sand, which made for hours of fun for Liam. Willow was not that impressed.
We got to watch a baby bird learn to fly one day.
Liam got his first haircut. He wanted to get it cut and was ok until the clippers came out and scared him. We decided to go meet them at the park to play and by the time we got there he was over being upset about his hair and had a great time playing at the park.
Alex went to Jacksonville Arkansas for a trap shoot. It was so windy that day!! I am glad he had the opportunity to go and thankful for the businesses that sponsored the teams entrance fees.
I finished up my spring time wall hanging. I think it is cute!
Chelsea finished her 10 week internship so that means that the babies will not be with us Mon-Fri 7-3:30 like they have been. We will still babysit a few days here and there is their mama picks up some sub jobs.
I hope you had a great week!
Happy Homeschooling!

What a lot of outdoor joy! Liam looks like such a big boy with his hair cut. I hope he likes it. :)
I also wish Mama Goat a good labor and delivery. I'm reading this on Wednesday, so here's hoping her babies are already born!
I hope your grandbabies get to come over often . . . even though Mama is home more. I'll bet you'll miss them being over daily.
